SENIOR TECHNICIAN

- 4 semesters (2 years) for a total of 2000 hours, of which approximately 800 hours of internship.
The course will train professionals capable of managing complex data (big data) acquired using remote sensing techniques. This means professionals who combine skills in geomatics (a discipline that deals with the automated management of land-based information) with computer science (big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cyber security, etc.) are able to manage georeferenced data produced using various techniques (historical cartography, land surveys, aerial photogrammetry, drone and aircraft surveys, satellite position data, and Earth observation), standardize it, process it to extract information, and disseminate it through digital publishing systems, including 4D visualization systems, using interoperability protocols.
