The workshop is designed for students who want to gain practical skills in using hydrogen as a sustainable energy source.
This lab allows you to work with real tools and acquire skills sought after by companies, research centers, and energy agencies. It's an environment for experimenting, analyzing, and designing innovative solutions based on hydrogen, one of the key technologies of the energy transition.
The Hydrogen Energy Laboratory was created to train the next generation of energy transition technicians and professionals. Here, students learn how hydrogen can become one of the most promising renewable energy sources, experiencing firsthand real-world technologies for producing, storing, and converting hydrogen into electricity.
The goal is to transform theory into practical expertise, developing skills that can be used in the energy, industrial, automation, and sustainable innovation sectors.
In the Hydrogen Energy Laboratory, students follow a comprehensive path that combines design, experimentation and analysis:

How PEM fuel cells work.
Principles of water electrolysis for hydrogen production.
Safe gas storage and management techniques.

Setting up and testing a hydrogen generator.
Measurement of volume, purity and operating parameters.
Analysis of energy production and conversion efficiency.

Complete characterization via V–I–P curves.
Study of performance and behavior under load.

Gas handling procedures in a controlled environment.

Fuel Cell Systems Trainer
