The lab is designed for students interested in a career in piloting or operational flight management, who want to understand aircraft behavior in real-world conditions, and for those wishing to acquire MCC, APS MCC, or operational skills on different aircraft classes. The system's flexibility allows the training program to be tailored to a wide range of profiles, from beginners to advanced pilots.
The lab allows students to acquire real-world skills that can be immediately applied to professional contexts.
The Flight Simulator Laboratory offers an immersive and professional environment designed to train the next generation of pilots, technicians, and aeronautical engineers. Thanks to the simulator ALSIM ALX, certified and adopted in over 60 countries, students can enjoy an advanced training experience, developed according to international standards.
The laboratory was born with a specific objective: faithfully reproduce real flight scenarios, ensuring safe, progressive learning oriented towards the skills required in aviation careers.
Students can experience comprehensive and professional training thanks to the numerous features of the ALSIM ALX simulator, including
- Complete flight management: from the take-off and approach phases to complex maneuvers.
- Training on multiple aircraft categories: SEP, MEP, Light Turboprop, Light Jet, Medium Jet.
- Use of modern avionics: WAAS, SBAS, LPV, FMS, LNAV/VNAV advanced autopilot, weather radar*, TCAS*.
- Operational and emergency procedures: traffic management, weather conditions, scenarios of increasing complexity.
- MCC, JOC and APS MCC: certifiable training in crew coordination, decision making and flight management.
- Professional debriefing via instructor station touch, scenario recording and performance evaluation.
The heart of the laboratory is the ALSIM ALX Simulator, a modular and certifiable FNPT II & TC Level 2 platform, designed to offer an extremely realistic experience.

Hardware
- 3-axis control system (yoke and pedals) for pilot and co-pilot.
- Electric load control, for a faithful response to commands.
- Advanced ALSIM GPS/NAV/COM avionics with WAAS/SBAS/LPV.
- Instructor Station with two large touch screens for scenario management and evaluations.
- Panoramic viewing system with HD laser projection.
- Integrated air circulation system for greater comfort and realism.
Software
- ALSIM Visual Display Image Generator – VFR-VS, with high-fidelity scenarios.
- Jeppesen database updated quarterly.
- ATIS simulation, weather, radio aids and RNP APCH procedures (LNAV, LPV).
Services and certifications
- Certification Support EASA FNPT II / FNPT II MCC.
- Technical and educational assistance, maintenance, updates, and guided qualification.
- 2-year warranty with access to a hotline, ticketing, and scheduled maintenance.
The laboratory can include additional options such as TCAS, weather radar, Garmin GTN, cabin smoke system, UPS, debriefing station etc. depending on configuration.
